Joseph D. Beaudoin is a Wealth Management Advisor, drawing on a breadth of experience, education, and knowledge to tailor wealth management strategies to the unique needs of affluent families, individuals, and business owners. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Chartered Financial Analyst® designee, he believes in building long-term relationships based on communication, staying focused on his clients’ changing needs, and providing exemplary service and thoughtful guidance to help simplify their lives.
Joseph seeks to address his clients’ complex issues in a simplified manner, delivering customized investment management, estate planning services, and retirement income planning strategies in a plan that best aligns with their resources and objectives.
For clients who are approaching retirement and are concerned about preserving their lifestyles and passing their wealth to future generations, he can recommend strategies for investing, retirement income planning, and tax-efficient wealth transfer*, while managing their assets and liabilities to help them address their goals.
Joseph joined Apollon in 2025 after 8 years at Truist and 13 years at Merrill Lynch. During his time with the firm, he served as a branch manager, trainee director, complex sales manager, first vice president, and wealth management advisor, and was a member of their Chairman’s Club. Prior to working at Merrill Lynch, he was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley for three years. He is currently a member of the CFA Society of South Carolina.
Joseph earned a bachelor’s in finance from East Tennessee State University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He’s married to Celeste Beard Beaudoin, an OB/GYN with a local hospital group; they live in Greenville with their two sons, Henry and James. He and Celeste remain actively involved in local community efforts and various charities, in addition to their children’s ever-increasing extracurricular activities. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing and bird hunting.
